Although INK was inspired by Kete Pa, it took a life of its own very quickly. It’s a nonfigurative design that is soft and inviting, which is perfect for the concept of a good bed (Kete Pa’s literal translation). The pattern is constructed using thick bands of chenille floating over a slightly textured background. INK is available in 4 colour ways.

TOUCH is a finely textured solid which offers more than a typical plain fabric. Each colour way comprises of two complementary yarns, in different shades - the combination of which adds visual depth and interest to the weave. While a simple and clean fabric choice, TOUCH is also modern and offers luxurious quality. It comes in 15 colours and is bleach cleanable.

The jesmonite bowl of this coffee table is inspired by the ‘Asanka’ – a traditional shallow clay bowl used to blend and grind food in Ghana and many other parts of West Africa. The table’s wooden base is inspired by the Adinkra symbol ‘Adinkrahene’. It is a symbol, which is regarded as the chief of all the Adinkra symbols. There is both strength and vulnerability in how it sits off centred. AMWA Designs invites you to display and fill the table with that which is close to your heart.
